How the Calculation Works
The market reference is rupees per 10 grams of 24K gold. Weight is converted into multiples of 10 grams, then multiplied by the selected karat ratio: 22/24 for 22K, 18/24 for 18K and 14/24 for 14K.
Example: at ₹1,00,000 per 10 grams, the reference metal value of 10 grams of 22K gold is approximately ₹91,666.67 before charges and taxes.
