Gold Price Data
Inspect the exact historical coverage behind GoldCost.in and understand the prepared daily records and calculations without exposing private instrument metadata.
Daily Gold OHLC and Analytics
One canonical record is stored per trading session. Bulk raw-data downloads remain unavailable unless redistribution rights are explicitly confirmed.
Prices are an exchange-traded gold-futures reference in ₹ per 10 grams. Volume is the quantity reported with the source candle and is not kilograms purchased through GoldCost.in.
Data Coverage and Quality
In-session coverage compares observed timestamps with the expected cadence between each session's first and last candle. It excludes gaps outside recorded trading sessions.
| Interval | Observations | Sessions | Earliest | Latest | In-session coverage |

Latest Daily Gold Candles
The table shows up to 30 most recent daily candles from the prepared history described above.

How to Cite This Page
Suggested citation: “GoldCost.in, India Gold Reference History, accessed [date], goldcost.in/gold-price-data/.”
Include the access date because coverage expands as new market sessions are stored. Do not describe it as a physical dealer, scrap or guaranteed transaction price.
Data Quality Boundaries
- Historical candles are preserved exactly by interval and deduplicated by timestamp.
- Analytics use the nearest active exchange-traded gold-futures reference.
- Expired contracts are not silently concatenated.
- Unsupported periods and metrics remain unavailable.
- India uses IST throughout; there is no daylight-saving adjustment.
